As we approach the fourth of July weekend, some within our Community may be anxiously anticipating commencement of our annual Wednesday Farmers Market as that’s usually when our vegetable gardens have matured enough to rendered produce for the Market. However, for a variety of reasons (including departures of some of our longtime gardeners who prodigiously produced excess produce to donate to the market and a significant decline in the number of residents gardening this year in comparison to past years), we will not be holding our weekly community Farmers Market this year. Hopefully, next year will witness more residents turning out to garden and weather that lends itself to better production and we can see this much anticipated treat return to Rarity Bay. We apologize in advance to those who eagerly await the arrival of fresh produce from which to select.
