Truett Village - Graduate Student Housing

Truett Village is the concept of Brenner Campbell, a local real estate developer who is also a Truett graduate. One of Brenner’s passions is to see people excel in their calling from God. Brenner recognized the need to provide a community for those attending Truett Seminary, Baylor’s School of Social Work and possibly other graduate students in the area. He also recognized the need to have quality

housing at an affordable price for those choosing career fields that will never be lucrative, but rather, Christ centered and service oriented. The average cost per bedroom around the Baylor campus exceeds $500 per month. The starting price point for housing at Truett Village is $550/bedroom; HOWEVER, Truett Village is being built to provide housing at a more affordable discounted rate for Truett and Social Work Students starting out at under $400 per bedroom per month. Part of the annual proceeds at Truett Village positively impacts the seminary by way of donation. Brenner believes that providing such a neighborhood as Truett Village for the years of growth while attending Truett Seminary will greatly enhance the learning experience. It is the desire of Truett Village to create a space that encourages growth in one’s walk with the Lord through maintaining and expanding relationships with those who can challenge personal growth, and offer meaningful dialogue. It is the hope of Truett Village that God will use the neighborhood to raise up leaders that will love the Lord with all their heart, soul, and mind, and love their neighbors as their selves.
