It’s Sunday, and my Sundays are typically spent at the ball fields or regrouping for the week ahead. Lately life has been BUSY, and somewhere between listings, buyers, contracts, showings & answering questions all day, I realized I never gave these FIRST-TIME HOMEOWNERS their little spotlight. 🥹🏡

A little late to the party, but they CLOSED on their very first home Wednesday & it was all the best feels and vibes. 🫶🏼

Buying a home in an uncertain economy has made so many people question whether homeownership is even affordable anymore. Sometimes it just takes a conversation, a look at the numbers, and suddenly you realize—maybe this IS possible without draining yourself every month.

Things to do in McLennan County when it’s way too hot outside ☀️

Here’s where I beat the heat with the whole family:

- Mayborn Museum Complex to let the kids explore the hands-on exhibits, play in the Jeanes Discovery Center, and actually have fun while learning something.

- Heritage Creamery for a scoop of their homemade ice cream (or a cookie-and-ice-cream treat) when everyone needs a little sugar break.

- Waco Surf when we want to spend the afternoon in the water instead of melting in the Texas heat — lazy river, slides, and plenty of ways to stay cool.
