Seeing sunsets like this is the norm. We literally barely bat an eye anymore.

Everyone owns a boat, kayak, or paddleboard. At this point I think it’s included in the “Welcome to Central Texas” kit. 😂

September 11 — We Will Never Forget

Twenty-five years later, we remember.

September 11, 2001 is a day forever etched into the heart of our country. Nearly a quarter century has passed, yet for so many of us, the memories of that morning remain vivid—the disbelief, the heartbreak, and the realization that our nation had changed in an instant.

But we also remember what followed.

We remember the first responders who ran toward danger while others were running away. We remember ordinary Americans who became heroes. We remember communities gathering together, neighbors helping neighbors, American flags appearing on homes and businesses, and a country united in grief, gratitude and resolve.

September 11 is now observed as Patriot Day and a National Day of Service and Remembrance, honoring those who lost their lives and encouraging Americans to carry forward the spirit of service that emerged in the aftermath of the attacks.

As we mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11, may we remember the lives that were lost, honor the families who still carry that loss, and remain grateful for the first responders, service members and everyday Americans whose courage showed us what it means to stand together.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸
