As we dive into voting season here in Texas, there are several propositions that as a voter you will be asked to vote on. Proposition 11 is one of those regarding property taxes for the elderly and disabled. This is a great article from Channel 25 and State Rep Pat Curry for Texas . Regardless of where you sit on any voting topic or candidate, I always want to encourage you to be the most informed voter you can possibly be. Proposition 11 is a constitutional amendment. If passed, it would raise the homestead exemption property tax for homeowners that are disabled and people that are considered elderly from $10K to $60K.

Last night’s real estate and tech event was great! A big thank you to the hosts Zach Schofel and his company Cosign!! We were able to listen to Andrew Brock from Associa (they manage approx 7.5 MILLION units/properties 👀🤯🔥), they are the largest residential property management company in the world. And then we had the privilege to listen to Mark Cuban. He wasn’t able to make it in person but made time to jump on zoom and talk with us. I was able to meet some great people last night. Looking forward to connecting with everybody I was able to meet and hope to continue to do my best to help our real estate market here in Waco, Texas.

It’s a bye week but I still need to show big love to the hometown team for that exciting comeback win against Kansas State last week 🔥🏈. Crazy football weekend with Texas beating number 6 OU in the Red River Rivalry and Indiana upsetting Oregon too!! Next week is the REVIVALRY against TCU.. can Baylor go to Fort Worth and pull it off?! SIC EM 🐻🏈
