NEW REAL ESTATE RULE starts today for Realtors and anyone wishing to view homes with a Realtor. As a settlement agreement with the NAR, if you call to view a home with a Buyer’s Agent, you must now sign a Buyer’s Representation Agreement BEFORE being shown even a single property. This change is intended to clarify the relationship between buyers and their agents. The agreement outlines the agent's duties and the buyer's responsibilities, including how the agent will be compensated. This new requirement is part of broader efforts to enhance transparency and protect consumers in real estate transactions.
