🏡 SOLD in Barberton! 🔑❤️
This one came with a little plot twist… because you truly never know what goes on behind the scenes of a real estate transaction! 😅
My seller is a repeat client, and one of my favorite parts of working with him is getting to hear the stories behind his artwork every time we’re together. ❤️ I always enjoy our conversations — and I’m so thankful he trusted me again with another sale.
Then title came back and said…
“There are over 21 liens associated with your seller.”
Ummm… WHAT?! 😳 21?!
Before I even called my seller and sent him into a panic, I started investigating. As I went through everything, I quickly realized that several of the properties tied to these liens were properties he had never even owned.
I knew something wasn’t adding up.
After some digging, phone calls and comparing information, we discovered the problem: the middle name didn’t match my seller. 🙌
PHEW. 😅
We were able to get everything cleared up, keep the transaction moving, and just like that…

Sometimes being a Realtor means marketing and showing homes. Sometimes it means negotiating. And sometimes it means putting on your detective hat and figuring out why your seller suddenly appears to have 21 liens. 😂🕵️♀️
Whatever pops up, we handle it — because getting from FOR SALE ➡️ SOLD isn’t always as simple as the sign makes it look.
