I wanted to share a great resource available through GROW South Dakota. Their Down Payment Assistance Program may provide $5,000 in assistance through a deferred second mortgage with 0% interest and no monthly payments for eligible homebuyers.

There are income, purchase price, lender, and other eligibility requirements, but this could be a great option for buyers who need a little extra help getting into a home.

GROW South Dakota also offers homebuyer education, housing counseling, credit and budget counseling, and mortgage lending resources.
