BIG NEWS for North Dakota Homeowners!
North Dakota now offers a $1,600 Primary Residence Tax Credit that can significantly reduce your property tax bill — and most homeowners are eligible.

What you need to know:
• Up to $1,600 off your annual property tax bill.
• Applies to owner-occupied primary residences.
• No age restrictions.
• No income limits.
• Houses, condos, townhomes, duplexes, and mobile homes qualify.
• Homes held in a trust also qualify.
• One credit per household.

Important Dates:
The application window for the 2026 credit is January 1 – April 1, 2026.
