11 years on the Big Island, and I still wouldn’t trade this lifestyle for anything. 🌺

Living in Hawaiʻi comes with its challenges. The cost of living is high, island life takes some adjusting to, and things don’t always happen as quickly as we’d like.

But the morning walks, beautiful beaches, year-round outdoor living, and the incredible landscapes of Hawaiʻi Island remind me why I chose to make this place home.

It’s not always the easiest place to live, but for me, it’s absolutely worth it.

Every once in a while, a home reminds you just how wild and beautiful Hawaiʻi Island really is.

High in the mountains above Kona, this property feels like a true escape. No neighboring homes in sight, no traffic in the background, just the sound of birds, wind moving through the trees, and acres of tropical landscape.

Giant anthuriums, orchids, hydrangeas, ginger, and hāpuʻu ferns thrive here, creating a setting that feels completely different from the coastline just a short drive away.

It’s peaceful, private, a little unexpected, and one of those places that makes you stop and appreciate just how many different versions of Hawaiʻi exist on one island.

Such a fun and special home to represent!

Most people love this beach but find the parking nearly impossible.
