Today is one of the best days of my life. I have been working on finding a safe assisted living space for mom for the last several months. I am proud and fillled with joy to say that this morning she passed her assesment with flying colors and will be moving into Roselani here on Maui next month! We got the last available room. And it’s a corner unit with ocean views! Unless you have been a caretaker for someone with dementia you’ll never know how challenging it is for a family. I’ve never had a greater weight on my shoulders, it was unmanageable and frustrating to me that I couldn’t do more to help. Once I stopped trying to control everything the universe stepped in the best way possible ~
