The NFL announced today that Lahainaluna High School football coaches Dean Rickard, Garret Tihada, and former head coach Bobby Watson, along with players Morgan Montgomery, Teva Loft, Kaulana Tihada, and Kuola Watson, will be honorary coin toss captains at Super Bowl LVIII. The intro video will be narrated by Marcus Mariota, the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback from Hawaii, who has supported the community after the wildfire. ♥️

Gov. Josh Green spoke directly to any land speculators who might be trying to acquire land in Lahaina, saying that "it's going to be a very long time before any growth or housing can be built so you will be pretty poorly informed if you try to steal land from our people and then build here."
