We love the Museum of Life and Science in Durham! We just went to check out their new area for kids under 5 and both kids were entertained for a couple of hours before moving on to the rest of the museum! This is an AWESOME rainy day activity or a good inside option this summer when it gets really hot midday. Happy exploring!

Weekly Market Update for the Triangle Area of NC! 🏡

263 homes were listed in the past 7 days. This number may be confusing for some as you see neighborhoods popping up everywhere. This is because many of those homes are pre sales so you won’t see them in the MLS!

More homes were sold than were listed which shows us that we’re still having a large influx of people moving in, and not as many listing homes.

The average sold price is less than the average listed price which is different than we’ve seen in the recent past where houses were selling for much more than their list price. Good news for buyers!

The days on market continues to return to normal with longer listing time before going under contract. It’s not bad news for those hoping to list but you do want to be more intentional about interviewing agents to see how they plan on marketing your home. A great agent with a great marketing plan can make all the difference!

Usually Spring Cleaning looks like this for me: 1. Make a pile of kids stuff to get rid of 2. Kids go through said pile and suddenly everything is their favorite toy 3. Sneak said toys into car in the middle of the night for donations 4. kids somehow con us into bringing 343279474 things into the house to replace said toys 😂😅 Do as I say and not as I do - grab the Spring Cleaning Checklist!

I may be a little biased, but I think we have some of the best local parks in North Carolina in the Triangle area. This particular one is special because my husband built a bridge on one of the trails here!

Blue Jay has so much to offer from hiking, fishing, playgrounds, an education center, learning programs, and more!

This area of Raleigh is still close to all of the convinces you desire while allowing you to feel the peace and seclusion of the surrounding woods and lakes. It’s a great area of Raleigh to add to your home search!! 🏡 🌲
