Helped break ground today on the new Matunuck Shellfish Hatchery & Research Center.

Joined Perry Raso of Matunuck Oyster Bar, University of Rhode Island researchers, and local oyster farmers who are pooling their resources, along with a $1.3 million federal earmark I secured, to make this aquaculture project a reality.

Nice view of one of our recently completed projects!

Mornings in Narragansett! We had many guests reach out to us this morning to let us know ‘Fox & Friends’ started its morning with a view of Narragansett Beach and the Coast Guard House Restaurant.

Narragansett is beautiful, a little paradise on earth. 😉 It is filled with Early American history including our original structure built by Meade, McKim and White in 1888. The purpose of the structure was to operate as a US Lifesaving Station prior to the formation of the US Coast Guard. We are the current stewards of that history and welcome guests to see our past, as it is featured throughout the restaurant.
