Last summer, 📍 Milford, Connecticut gave this charming Walnut Beach sitting area a beautiful refresh, creating an inviting spot to slow down, soak up the Long Island Sound views, and admire Charles Island on the horizon. 🏝️

One of our favorite additions? The colorful Walnut Beach Habitat display, offering a fascinating glimpse into the birds, marine life, and delicate coastal ecosystem that make this shoreline so special. 🐚🦀

There are reviews we’re grateful for — and then there are reviews that remind us exactly why we love sharing our homes with others. 💛

🧜‍♀️Tara, thank you for choosing 'The Big Easy by the Sea' and for noticing so many of the little details we’ve poured our hearts into. 🎨Hearing you call our home “truly a work of art” meant more to us than you probably realized. ✨

🚆 We especially loved that your daughters could simply hop on the train from Manhattan and join the getaway — and that once everyone was here, so much of the neighborhood could be enjoyed on foot, from the beaches to nearby dining and more. 🌊👣🍽️

It’s one of the things we love most about this little corner of Milford: arrive, settle in, and leave the car behind whenever you feel like it. ⚓️

🚆 Sometimes the best getaways are the easiest ones to say “yes” to.

💛 One of the things we love about Milford is how simple it can be for friends and family to join the fun — even from New York City. 🗽

With train access into Milford, your getaway crew doesn’t necessarily have to arrive together — or even by car. 🚆 Someone can hop on the train, meet you here, and suddenly become part of the beach walks 🌊, dinners out 🍽️, and little moments 🥰 that make a getaway memorable.

Sometimes “Meet us at the beach” really can be that easy. ⚓️

🌊 A Little Plot Twist at My Marques Getaways…

Apparently, we’ve become our own Guests. 😂

🏖️ 'The Big Easy by the Sea' is where you’ll find us settling in for a while — soaking up our little piece of the Connecticut coast while Dana’s work keeps us nearby.

🌲 And up in Maine? We’re keeping things a little closer to home there, too. For now, those stays are being reserved exclusively for our returning Guests. 💙

So yes… availability at MMG is looking a little different these days.

But we’re still here. Still Hosting. Still sharing the places we love.

Just a little more selectively. 🥰

This season, we're doing things a little differently at our Mid-Coast Maine homes.

With our own travel schedule taking us in and out of Maine, we're keeping the calendar mostly closed and accepting reservations from our returning guests when our schedules happen to align. 💙
