• Walla Walla Police Department lobby — 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

It is with a heavy heart to inform the public of the passing of Officer Scott Hays.

Officer Scott Hays dedicated over 16 faithful years to the Milton-Freewater Police Department.

Officer Hays was great man, husband and father.
He will be missed by everyone.

Oregon State Police have stepped up and are taking calls inside the city limits to help our police department grieve the loss we are facing.

Thank you for everyone’s understanding and patience during this very difficult time.
