I finally finished House of Leaves and now I kind of want to sit quietly and stare at a wall for a bit.

It’s unsettling in that slow, creeping way — the kind of book that lingers long after you close it and makes you question why it hit the way it did.

Years ago, I listened to Poe’s Haunted on repeat without fully understanding how deeply tied it was to this book. Reading it now feels like coming full circle — like I finally caught the other half of a conversation I’ve been in for years.

I’m genuinely excited to re-listen to the album with fresh ears and see what lands differently this time.
