We wanted to provide a quick update and correction regarding the previously announced opening date for the Grand Magnolia Lagoon. After taking a closer look at the final stages of preparation and operations, we have made the decision to move the official public opening to October.

Guest satisfaction and delivering an exceptional experience from Day 1 are our highest priorities. We want to make sure every detail—from operations and programming to the overall guest experience—is fully ready before we welcome the public. We believe the additional time will allow us to open the lagoon the right way and deliver the incredible experience that our residents, Realtors, homebuyers, and guests have been anticipating.

But You and Your Buyers Don’t Have to Wait Until October to See It!
Throughout September, the Grand Magnolia Lagoon will be accessible for special tours. Our helpful team of Grand Magnolia Ambassadors will be on-site and ready to personally show you and your clients around the facility. This includes Labor Day Monday too. Come tour the incredible white-sand beaches, see the lagoon up close, and get a firsthand look at what will soon be one of Houston’s most exciting destinations.

Food & Drinks Are On Us!
We will have complimentary food and drinks available from 11 AM–2 PM every weekend in September, including Labor Day Monday for everyone who comes out to tour the Grand Magnolia Lagoon. We’re excited to announce that Labor Day Weekend (September 5th, 6th, and 7th) will be the official opening weekend for the Grand Magnolia Lagoon.

Grand Magnolia Grand Opening Details:

Public Grand Opening Date -
September, 5th, 6th and 7th

Opening times –
11am-sunset

Going forward opening –
• It will be open Saturdays & Sundays for rest of the season

Available programming opening day and going forward –
• Swim up bar
• Aqua course
• Beach bar
• Beaches
• Beach games
• Food trucks
• The operations team is still finalizing some of the lagoon programming/activities. They are working to have all programs and activities listed above operational opening weekend.
