North Carolina isn't one thing. It's mountains, it's coast, it's small towns, it's cities, and everything in between. The cost of living is still reasonable compared to a lot of places people are moving from.

The pace is slower in a good way, and the people tend to be genuinely welcoming.

Is it perfect? No place is. But I've been here long enough to know why people come, and why they stay.
