California home sales bounced back in August, but buyers are still watching their budgets closely. 🏡

Only 33.2% of homes sold above asking price, and homes spent a median of 28 days on the market. Inventory remains tighter than last year, while mortgage payments have started climbing again.

For buyers, this may mean more room to negotiate on the right home. For sellers, pricing and presentation matter more than ever.
