A call I’ve been getting a lot lately: we’ve had it on market, but it just doesn’t sell. When I peek at the listing pictures to pull together a proposal, I’m noticing a theme. They are virtually staged. And virtually staged really well, these images are not the air-born couches of 2020. They are getting buyers through the door. But when they arrive, it’s an empty space with nothing to emotionally connect to. This is a person drawn by an image and walking into nothing, which might even be worse than MLS images of empty rooms. I know I am biased to physical staging. I know virtual is a much more budget friendly option. I also know these un-sold listings are making my phone ring.
