Some closings feel entirely like a beginning. This one also carries a goodbye. 🤍

Yesterday, a home that remained within its founding family for more than six generations officially passed into new hands.

I loved getting to hear the stories from family, people in town, and even my Photographer 😂 about the extraordinary history in this home.
Throughout its life, it served as a home, the town’s police station, a coffin maker’s workshop and even a place where neighbors once gathered to pay their respects.

It has been a privilege to represent a property with such a remarkable story and to help carry it carefully into its next chapter.

Housing and economic development go hand in hand. 🏡

It was so fun to prepare and lead a tour of The Grove houses at Blackberry Lane in Charlestown with representatives from Charlestown Economic Development, Claremont Economic Development, Discover Sugar River, Vital Communities and Chinburg!

These are local people who are invested in strengthening our communities, supporting economic growth, and helping create more housing opportunities throughout our region.

We toured the available homes, discussed the additional plans coming to The Grove, and the role housing plays in attracting and keeping employees here.

Because accepting a new job is only one part of relocating. People also need to be able to picture where they will live, how they will connect to the area, and whether they can truly build a life here.
