We are thrilled to share that one of our own, Catherine Watry, has been selected to receive the Gillis Graduate Fellowship through the Harley Langdale Jr. Center for Forest Business at the University of Georgia Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources!

The Gillis Graduate Fellowship recognizes students based on academic achievement, industry potential, and their commitment to advancing the future of forest business. It was established to honor the legacy of Jim L. Gillis, Jr., a UGA forestry graduate who dedicated his life and career to banking, farming, forestry, and cattle ranching while championing forest business at every turn.

In her own words:

"I am honored to receive this fellowship through the Harley Langdale, Jr. Center for Forest Business. Receiving this is especially meaningful as it represents the hard work I am putting into my studies, as well as my commitment to helping strengthen the future of forest business. I look forward to continuing to work hard throughout my time at UGA and throughout my career to represent the values this award stands for while making a meaningful contribution to the future of the forest business industry."
