While it may be very scary to think of having strangers in your house, we really need houses to be on the market. We can take measures to be sure that your house is kept safe. Ummm. Recently a family member and a friend asked me why I blocked them. I was confused. I checked just in case and there were no blocked people on my list. Then I see this. Hmmm, I am not the only one. So now I am fixing my blocked posts. I wondered where everybody had been! This is good to know. It's ridiculous to have 450 friends and only 25 are allowed to see posts.
I ignored this post earlier because I didn’t think it worked. It WORKS!! I have a whole new news feed. I’m seeing posts from people I haven’t seen in years.
Here’s how to bypass the system FB now has in place that limits posts on your news feed. Their new algorithm chooses the same few people - about 25 - who will read your posts. So hold your finger down anywhere in this post and "copy" will pop up. Click "copy". Then go to your page, start a new post, and put your finger anywhere in the blank field. "Paste" will pop up and click "paste". This will bypass the system.

While we are prohibited from showing houses or going on listing appointments, there is plenty we can do online. If you are looking to buy a new home, check your property alerts when they come. Those houses will still be there when we can go out. If you don’t have property alerts set up, either set them up, or send me an email with location, # of bedrooms, baths, price point, etc and I’ll set them up for you. I will also send you a list of homes currently on the market…you can pre-view them online and make a list of those you want to see when we can go out again. If you are not pre-approved, all the mortgage officers I know are working remotely…a good time to check with them re: what you need to do to get pre-approved. If you don’t have a mortgage person you feel comfortable with, I can send you a list of those I’ve worked with. If you are looking to sell your house, send me the address with some info on condition, repairs needed, etc. and I will do a preliminary market analysis to give you an idea of what we could sell it for. While we are all confined right now, it’s not forever, and it never hurts to be prepared for when we return to a more normal way of life. Until then…I wish you all comfort…stay safe.
