It's holiday time!!
Bucks County is a wonderful place to experience the holidays. There is so much to do! Here are a few our family favorites..
Peddlers Village
Each year, the village is illuminated with thousands of lights for the holidays. It is truly breathtaking! We end each stroll at Giggleberry Fair and let the kids take a ride on the carousel.
Shadybrook Farms
The farm has a light show that opens right before Thanksgiving each year. You can drive through or take a wagon ride. We have experienced it both ways..the wagon is our favorite! You drive through 3 MILLION lights, all coordinated to favorite holiday tunes. After the ride, we love to grab a cup of coffee and stroll through their Christmas village where there are campfires, smore making kits and other yummy treats.
Doylestown Tree lighting
This has been a favorite event of mine growing up, and now my children love it as well. Santa comes and lights up the big Christmas tree in front of Starbucks in town. Santa even makes it snow! It is a truly magical event.
Perkasie Tree lighting
We moved to Sellersville a few years ago and decided to give the Perkasie tree lighting a try. What a wonderful family event! Free horse and carriage rides, tons of local food and drinks, characters on stilts walking around. Santa arrives and is lifting to the top of the Christmas Tree to light it up and throw candy canes out into the crowd.
Oh and!..you can head over to Menlo Park to ride the carousel with him before he lights the tree!
