Love being able to host a big BBQ lunch for Memorial Day, shout out to Compass health and friends and neighbors who were able to cook the food they brought in! A good day to reflect on the servants who defend our country, and those who paid for our liberty with their life.

A big welcome today for the Tri-County Continuum of Care, who had their monthly meeting at Liberty Belle. We were able to show off the facility, and learn about additional resources for Saint Charles, Warren and Lincoln county. You guys are welcome back anytime, we are all on the same page about providing assistance and organizing for people who need housing.

Art all around! We had some donations come in, but a lot of the artwork is created by people who live here, love seeing everybody’s individual expression proudly displayed in the courtyard area ❤️😍 💃

The Liberty Belle just completed our first cold weather sheltering event for 2025/26. We sheltered 86 adult guests, some had kids and pets. The breakdown is 80 Warren County residents (6 were veterans). Eight additional guests were from neighboring counties. The average daily count was 30. We started mid-November and ended in March 2026. We also saw and assisted with long term housing referrals ✅

19 found apartments
11 went to a recovery program
10 found a couch / family / friend to help
3 went to the nursing home
2 went to a domestic violence shelter
2 received a bus ticket back home

Most of the 39 others returned to their cars, tents or storage lockers and are still our hidden neighbors in Warren county.

THANK YOU to the many people who stepped and volunteered. Many community service hours were given, restaurants and pantries donated food and supplies poured in. We have reset the areas and I’m sure will be hot weather sheltering in June 2026

Over the past month, our agency has received questions and concerns regarding pedestrian and bicycle access across the Highway 47/I-70 Bridge in Warrenton during the upcoming demolition and closure. We have shared these concerns with MoDOT leadership, and in response, the MoDOT Northeast District has provided the following information to help support those who rely on this route:

To maintain pedestrian access across I-70 during the project, temporary transportation assistance options will be available.

MoDOT has worked with Uber and users may receive a 50 percent discount on trips associated with the detour by visiting https://r.uber.com/47bridge and entering the voucher code “47bridge.”

OATS Transit services are also available in Warrenton on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 1-800-654-6287.

Thank you for your continued patience as improvements are made to the I-70 corridor in Warren County.

I wanted to make an update because this is the most frequent question that I get, where can we bring donations? In order to make it easy for Warren County, we actually have an entire closet that is left unlocked during the day for easy drop off. This is at the Liberty Bell, which is located directly behind anchor house. It’s on the left of the building and says -donations- on the door. Also check out the beautiful new concrete that we have to help fight mud! We had one visitor who left behind a small imprint 😍
