Itโs finally hot in northern Indiana โ and honestly, I love it.
We get roughly 7 minutes of summer here, so yes, Iโm going to enjoy every hot day, every lake weekend, every ballfield evening, and every โshould we just grill?โ kind of night.

Just because the weather is heating up does not mean buyers need to lose their minds in the housing market.
You do not need to panic-buy.
You do not need to waive every ounce of common sense.
You do not need to fall in love with a house before you know the real payment.
You do not need to let Zillow gaslight you into thinking the payment is one thing when taxes, insurance, mortgage insurance, and closing costs say otherwise.
A hot market does not mean a stupid market.
It means you need to be prepared before the cute house hits.
Know your numbers.
Know your comfort zone.
Know what you can ask the seller for.
Know whether Indiana, Michigan, FHA, USDA, conventional, or assistance options make sense for you.
โ๏ธSummer is short here. Donโt waste it stressed, confused, or guessing.
