Friends, can anyone help?

OK! ….reaching out to my Facebook friends, I am trying to move to a dog friendly apartment. I work at BankNewport in Middletown. I live in Portsmouth right now. I pay $1300 a month for rent with nothing included. I have incredible credit. 834 to be exact. I would love to stay between Newport and Portsmouth but I would also cross the bridge over to the Kingstown area.
The availability of housing in Rhode Island is absolutely ridiculous. If I can’t find some thing within the next few months I will be moving down south.
