Property Maintenance Staff:
*Responsible for assisting maintenance supervisor with apartment turnover including painting and cleaning units.
*Responsible for assisting Maintenance supervisor in ensuring the outside of the property is maintained, including dog park, landscaping, snow removal, and garbage/trash removal.
*Responsible for assisting maintenance supervisor in repair of buildings and grounds to maintain proper care of all units and common areas.
*Responsible for assisting maintenance supervisor in responding to online maintenance requests from tenants and resolve in a timely manner based on priority level.
*Respond to emergency calls as needed at the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor which may include evening, weekends, or holidays.
Required skills and qualifications:
*1 + years of related experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
*Strong verbal and social skills with the ability to work with tenants directly to handle any issues they may have. The ability to make them feel like their issues are important and will be resolved timely is very important.
*General mechanical skills, with the ability to fix basic issues if requested by the maintenance supervisor.
*Located within 20 minutes of the Warwick, RI area.
*Valid Driver’s License and vehicle required.
*Ability to communicate in English both written and verbally.
*Basic computer skills required.
*Ability to pass a full national criminal background check.
*Position is Full-time, Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. However, emergency calls as needed make flexibility with schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays a necessity.
