Looking for something to do tonight, Saturday, April 25...? The Iron River Lions Club is hosting their 6th annual Wipeout Childhood Fundraiser at the Iron River Community Center.

The event is a 50's/60's sock hop especially for children and their families. Show up and support a good cause if you can make it!
Last year they raised over $10,000.00 for the Essentia Health Erick Peter Person Childrens Cancer Center in Duluth - a pediatric cancer care facility.

If you know, you know... Our Zoning Code and process here is really dated, and is not always easy to navigate or use - for the public, and for the zoning staff. A lot has changed since the last zoning code update (1976 or so I believe). So efforts have been underway to make updatesand improvements. It's great to see there are several public sessions being planned for folks interested in staying involved and learning more. See the flyer below for details...
