Great buildings provide shelter. Exceptional buildings create a sense of wonder.

Alice Hope is a celebrated New York artist known for transforming everyday materials into striking, large-scale installations that blur the line between sculpture, architecture, and design.

Her work in the lobby of my 14th Street penthouse is a reminder that exceptional buildings are about more than square footage—they’re about experience. While many developers focus solely on the residences, the most visionary invest in art, design, and the moments that make a place memorable. This installation elevates a simple arrival into something unexpected, sophisticated, and inspiring.

Most tours start by showing you the interior views…

The views looking outward from the center of Penthouse 310, are every bit as spectacular as the interior views.

Walls of glass. Sunlight pouring through every room. Over 2,200 square feet of beautifully updated living space. Two spacious bedrooms. Two and a half baths. Elevator access. Two-car parking. Multiple outdoor living spaces. A floor plan that feels both sophisticated and effortless.

This isn’t just another penthouse.

It’s the rare opportunity to have the convenience of city living, the privacy of a retreat, and views that remind you every day why you chose to live in The Nation’s Capital.

Honored to be recognized as one of Northern Virginia’s top agents. But awards like this never happen in a vacuum. They’re built one relationship, one conversation, one inspection, one negotiation, and one long day at a time over many years.
This week alone: a home inspection in McLean, a closing in Alexandria, a listing interview in Fort Hunt, a design meeting for a new home in Great Falls, listing and contracting a home in The Plains, and this Sunday I’ll be on tour with buyers in Bluemont, Middleburg, and Round Hill.
Some parts of this business move quickly. Others take years of trust, experience, and relationships to come together. That’s the real honor to me — not the award itself, but that clients and friends trust me with some of the biggest decisions and investments of their lives.
Grateful to Virginia Living for the recognition, but even more grateful for the people behind it all. The real joy is in the work, the relationships, and helping people through every stage of the journey.
Thank you to my clients, friends, family, and colleagues for your trust and support.

Sometimes a house is more than square footage, bedroom counts, or a floor plan. Sometimes you walk through the front door and immediately feel the life that was lived there… the dinners that stretched late into the evening, the laughter carried from the family room into the garden, the quiet mornings in the study, and the warmth of a home that truly embraced the people inside it.

From the moment I met the seller of 2735 Unicorn Lane in Chevy Chase, D.C., I could tell this home was deeply loved. Thoughtfully designed for gathering, entertaining, and living beautifully, it offers elegant formal rooms alongside comfortable everyday spaces, lush gardens that feel both magical and manageable, an elevator that makes life easier, and the convenience of a garage on snowy mornings.

This is the kind of home that represents the next chapter perfectly — moving from a larger estate into something more effortless without sacrificing beauty, warmth, entertaining, or comfort. A home where you can still host family holidays, pour wine for friends around the table, and enjoy the feeling of gracious living… just with a little more freedom and a little less maintenance.

And somehow, in every room and every garden path, you can still feel the love that shaped it.

3079 Halfway Road isn’t just a home. It’s a feeling

It’s the crackle of a wood-burning fireplace after a long week in the city. The warmth of reclaimed wood beneath your fingertips. A chestnut island at the center of the kitchen where conversations linger for hours, wine glasses refill themselves, and nobody ever seems to want to leave.

This is the kind of home that wraps around you. The kind where there are quiet corners for intimate conversations… and soaring cathedral ceilings and an open floor plan built for unforgettable nights with family, friends, music, laughter, and life. A home where the party flows in circles — from the kitchen to the great room, through walls of glass and out onto the deck, into the hot tub, down to the massive pool, all surrounded by trees so private It feels like your own hidden world beneath the stars of Fauquier County.

Downstairs, there’s A sprawling gaming and movie room where kids disappear for hours. Upstairs and throughout, spaces designed not for show… but for living. For gathering. For reconnecting. For creating the kind of weekends people beg to be invited to.

And the best part? It’s turnkey. Completely renovated. Warm, soulful, and ready now. No low ceilings from another century. No endless projects. Just a beautifully reimagined country retreat with a 2026 main-level primary suite, four bedrooms, two dens, two full baths, two half baths, and room for everyone you love.

Perfectly positioned between Middleburg and The Plains, with Marshall just minutes away, you can slip out for dinner, spend the evening under the stars, and still be back in downtown DC in under an hour.

This is the best of both worlds.
A sanctuary.
A gathering place.
A love letter to family, friendship, and the life you’ve worked so hard to create.
