Skip the first vintage, step into the ones already winning | Fabbioli Cellars, Leesburg, Virginia📍

____

There are vineyards, and then there are wineries that a region has already decided to love.

Set amidst 25 picturesque acres in the heart of Loudoun County's celebrated wine country, Fabbioli Cellars is a rare turnkey offering where award-winning wines, multiple established revenue streams, and more than two decades of stewardship converge to create one of the region's most recognized agricultural destinations.

The wines have earned the accolades. The tasting room, event spaces, and devoted customer base have built something more durable still: a business that produces across several channels, season after season, with a reputation that arrives already made.

What began as an open hay field has evolved into a fully realized farmstead. The owners' residence, tasting room, wine cave, production facilities, barrel storage, and dedicated event spaces were each added with intention as the property's reputation flourished, resulting in infrastructure that supports winemaking, hospitality, and events under a single roofline of ownership. Approximately ten acres remain in active agricultural production, including established vineyards alongside raspberries, pears, asparagus, and hundreds of mature trees.

Just minutes from historic Leesburg, this is a rare acquisition in a market where producing wineries seldom trade.

Most vineyards are planted. This one is already pouring.

The Approach, the Foyer, the Two Private Acres Beyond | 8901 Durham Drive, Potomac, MD 📍

Offered for $7,995,000

Comment "Durham Drive" for more information.
____

Set behind automatic gates on over two landscaped acres in Potomac's Golden Horseshoe, this landmark Bradley Farms estate has undergone a complete architectural transformation by Kent Construction & Development. Originally built in 1971, the residence has been reimagined from the inside out, preserving the proportions of its Georgian Colonial architecture while introducing every expectation of contemporary luxury.

Beyond the gloss black front door, a gracious foyer with checkerboard marble flooring introduces 14,300 square feet of exceptional workmanship. The living room spans 35 feet in depth beneath one of four fireplaces, opposite a dignified library and a moody central dining room juxtaposed by a light-filled solarium. At the heart of the informal wing is the bespoke kitchen, where custom cabinetry handmade in Italy conceals Wolf, Sub-Zero, and Miele appliances, with Calacatta Fantasy Quartzite cladding the island and slab backsplash. Above, the primary suite occupies a dedicated wing with a Bianco Puro marble bath and an imported Italian dressing room, joined by four additional bedroom suites.

The lower level is announced by a custom glass wine cellar glowing at the entrance to a true professional cinema, finished with the same rigor as the formal rooms above and completed by an adjoining bar, mirrored fitness room, sauna, and massage room. Outdoors, fully fenced grounds framed by mature trees offer complete privacy, while a 50-foot lap pool, new stone terraces, and fully irrigated landscape suit both intimate evenings and large-scale entertaining al fresco.

A union of Georgian Colonial architecture, rare craftsmanship, and sophisticated technology, 8901 Durham Drive stands among the finest estate homes along Potomac's Millionaire's Mile.

Coming Soon: A house that rewards a close look, from Summit Homes | 3543 Albemarle Street NW📍

Offered for $3,495,000
____

Set just moments from Connecticut Avenue and Rock Creek Park, 3543 Albemarle Street NW brings the proportions and character of classic Washington architecture together with exceptional craftsmanship, finishes, and infrastructure. Developed by Summit Homes and constructed by Bolt Builders, the residence features architecture by Axis Architects, interiors by May Wilson of Edith Gregson Interiors, and landscape architecture by Richardson & Associates.

Beyond a full-width front porch framed by Visual Comfort gas lanterns, an entry vestibule laid in herringbone white oak introduces 4,950 finished square feet across four levels. Five-inch solid white oak extends throughout, complemented by a staircase with custom-milled treads. The chef’s kitchen pairs Sub-Zero refrigeration and a 36-inch Wolf range with custom Bullseye cabinetry and the natural veining of Dolce Vita marble, opening to the dining and family rooms and out to the rear lawn.

Above, the primary suite overlooks the private rear grounds, its bath finished with marble mosaic detailing and radiant heated floors. The third level offers the home’s most distinctive architectural space: a lounge beneath cathedral ceilings opening directly to a private rooftop deck. The walkout lower level adds a recreation room and a wet bar in Taj Mahal leathered stone.

Outdoors, Richardson & Associates designed private grounds with a Unilock paver terrace, outdoor kitchen, and generous lawn behind full fencing. A detached two-car garage is accessed from the rear alley, with a private studio above.

Washington has addresses that mean something, though rarely in ways visible from the sidewalk. Hillyer Place is one, a one-way street two and a half blocks from Dupont Circle, quiet enough that most people pass it without registering it exists. Colonel Hillyer built this house for his daughter. Decades later, John Steinbeck lived in it.

The façade says the rest with confidence: light brick beneath a red clay roof with Dutch gables, carved stonework above a double-door entry. Inside, nearly 4,000 square feet where marble fireplaces and soaring ceilings carry recessed lighting and integrated surround sound so quietly you notice the effect, not the equipment. At the rear, a full wall of glass opens over a kitchen of thick-edge Polarstone, European cabinetry, and Wolf, Sub-Zero, and Miele.
French doors release onto tiered terraces descending to a private walled courtyard, with exterior storage built into the architecture rather than bolted onto it. Beyond sits a two-car parking pad, in this part of Dupont, less an amenity than a small act of civic luck.

The primary suite reads as retreat: fireplace, private balcony, a sunlit dressing gallery between dual walk-in closets, and a bath of marble and wood-look tile around a freestanding tub. Two more bedrooms above, each with a fireplace. Below, a lower level that operates as a complete second residence, with private entrances front and rear.

Steinbeck left. The Phillips Collection stayed, along with the market, the restaurants, and the Metro. The house has kept up with all of it.

Now Taking Shape on Aldebaran Drive | A Homecoming by Cecchi Homes

Only in HEIDER Private | Delivering Fall 2026.
_____

John Cecchi was six years old when his family moved into this house in 1980. He grew up within these walls. Decades later, as builder and developer, he returns to the property he never stopped seeing potential in, redesigning it alongside Kristin Cecchi as the estate he always envisioned just beyond Washington.

The result reads as a mini estate, remarkable for a home of this scale in the heart of McLean. Spanning 6,800 finished square feet, a main level primary suite, and a open-concept kitchen built with equal conviction for weeknight dinners and large-scale entertaining. Outside, a circular drive and fountain set the arrival, while the grounds open to a swimming pool and private tennis court.

With construction underway, there remains a window for a buyer to step in and shape the finishes and details that make a house singular. Opportunities of this caliber rarely come to market, where architectural ambition meets the timeless appeal of one of McLean’s most treasured neighborhoods.

Renderings are artistic representations of design intent, not an exact depiction of the finished home. Finishes and dimensions subject to change.

Set on a level half-acre lot along one of Chevy Chase Section Three’s most verdant streets, 3626 Raymond Street is a century-old Craftsman distinguished by exceptional character, craftsmanship, and scale. A vibrant yellow-shingle façade with green trim, stacked-stone walls, and a flagstone approach introduces approximately 8,600 square feet of interiors where intricate historic millwork and thoughtfully integrated modern amenities coexist throughout.

The living room features a fireplace and abundant natural light, while the dining room pairs a coffered ceiling with custom built-ins and an adjoining library nook. The kitchen combines a custom wood island with a commercial-grade Wolf range, full-size refrigeration, and an airy breakfast area overlooking the grounds.

In Spring Valley, the finest homes reveal themselves slowly. Beyond the stone staircase and layered gardens of 3615 49th Street lies a storybook Tudor that wears a different personality at every hour of the day, and today Daniel Heider opens the door.

Offered for $4,595,000.

Comment “49th Street” for more information.
____

Set along one of Spring Valley’s most established streets, 3615 49th Street is a 1935 English Tudor reimagined in 2012 by Morris-Day Designers and Builders under architect Rob Morris. Spanning approximately 5,700 square feet, the home is defined by architectural integrity, craftsmanship, and enduring character.

Steep gables, half-timbering, textured masonry, and leaded windows preserve traditional Tudor design while introducing refined modern livability. A stone stair ascends through layered gardens to a façade framed by climbing greenery and timeless detailing.

The top level adds two bedrooms, a full bath, and flexible space, while the lower level evokes an old-world tavern with a wet bar, fireplace, and built-ins. An exercise room, full bath, storage, and mudroom connect to the two-car garage.

Moments from Spring Valley Park and neighborhood amenities, 3615 49th Street blends timeless design with everyday livability in one of Washington’s most established enclaves.
