There is so much happening now in the real estate industry. I’m not really one for reporting the news and how it impacts us because I usually keep my head down and do my thing. I love it in the trenches, helping you all buy houses. But current developments and knee-jerk reactions are directly impacting you, the consumer. Between the governing bodies trying to make the real estate industry transparent and fair for consumers, some (not all) real estate brokerages trying to increase their market share, and portals like Zillow and Redfin choosing to only supply you partial information, things are getting wild. You need to know what’s happening and how to protect yourself.

Washington, D.C. is on the brink of a major transformation in 2025, and it's not just about politics this time—it's all about the booming real estate and development scene! Whether you're thinking of moving here or just curious about the city's future, this isn’t our Founding Father’s stodgy city and it’s not the wild trainwreck of a few years ago. DC is resilient. Diversity, walkability and the robust job market are the major drivers of people moving to the area.

With new residential neighborhoods to cutting-edge tech spaces, there's so much happening. Today, I'm breaking down what’s coming to the D.C. metro area in 2025 that puts the DC resilience on blast.

There’s no one doing videos like this in the DC Area. I am out on the streets, showing you exactly what it’s like here. The Entire DC Metro Area has experienced major growth over the past few years. In 2025 we will see that trend continue. Things did get dicey for a bit but, five years now post-Covid, DC reigns as one of the most desirable places to live in the US. What the population data shows is that locally, people do leave DC to go to the suburbs (domestic migration.) But the city and the metro area benefit from a lot of actual migration of people from other areas of the country or the world coming here.
