Originally from a small town in Illinois, Lydia did her undergraduate and graduate studies at Stanford University before moving to DC, and has been here giving back to this community ever since. She and her husband, local veterinarian Dr. Randy Benson, have raised their two daughters in Spring Valley, and loves the diversity of activities and neighborhoods in this great city. One of her favorite things to do is explore DC and the surrounding areas with her daughters.
