As we move into the spring market, the Washington, DC housing market continues to evolve.

Recent data across the DC Metro region shows inventory beginning to increase, although many suburban areas still remain below pre-pandemic levels. At the same time, buyer activity is picking up, with contract activity rising across multiple jurisdictions.

One interesting shift is happening in the condominium market. Urban areas such as Washington, DC, Arlington, and Alexandria are seeing more inventory growth compared with surrounding suburban markets.

For both buyers and sellers, this environment reinforces the importance of strategy, pricing, and understanding the local market at a neighborhood level.
