✨ Showings with a side of DC history ✨
A delight to show a property today at one of DC's most architecturally significant residential buildings - The Northumberland in Dupont/U Street.
Built in the early 1900s by legendary Washington developer Harry Wardman, the property was conceived as grand luxury apartments for government officials, judges, and members of Congress.
More than a century later, much of its original character remains - stained glass, marble, mosaic floors, elaborate plasterwork, carved woodwork, and an incredible lobby!
One of my favorite things about working in DC real estate is having the opportunity to spend time in buildings like this - not just beautiful places to live, but pieces of Washington history.
