Continuing our Pride Month spotlights and offering a bookstore theme, we’re highlighting One More Page Books in Arlington — a vibrant, independent, and fiercely inclusive local bookstore.

Founded in 2011 by Eileen McGervey, One More Page was built on a simple but powerful mission: to create a cozy community hub where stories bring people together. Over the years, this beloved shop has become a celebrated safe space and ally to the LGBTQIA+ community, notably hosting a dedicated monthly Q***r Book Club, showcasing q***r authors, and defending diverse literature. Through author panels, community pop-ups, and a welcoming team, they have cultivated a sanctuary where everyone can see themselves reflected on the shelves. 🏳️‍🌈✨

Carry hand sanitizer when you go out! Although much of what you interact with will be clean, it's always better to be well prepared.

Use your sanitizer after touching high-traffic objects like the handbars on the metro, before you eat, and after interacting with someone who may be sick. Plus, you never know when a bathroom may be out of hand soap. 🧼
