Happy Easter Everyone! Eric and I were blessed a wonderful breakfast in WV with Horace, Sheree & Fireball and then dinner at my mom’s and capped off with watching Kia’s little ones hunt for eggs while we worked on helping jimmy build the jungle gym!

Take Me To Church! What a blessing this morning from Pastor Jose and Taylor who visited us from Texas. Our old neighbors came back to visit and took us to church all at the same time. God Is Good…All The Time! They once again reminded Eric and I what true neighborly love is!

A couple of 2 is now a loving family of 6.

I’d love to see more ordinary people showing their journey toward their own dreams!!! I love saluting our Black Icons but I love even more supporting and highlighting our Everyday Black Heroes & Sheroes chasing their own dreams!

Man versus Machine in Court. Man Won!!!! It is ironic that my name is John Henry because yesterday was a victory against the machine and the establishment.

I was wrongly pulled over and ticketed for 79mph in a 55mph zone. Meanwhile truck that passed me in same area did not get pulled over.

Judge ruled in my favor and stated in all her years as a judge, she has never heard such an amazing and compelling defense against a radar run and police officer. I was shocked and so was everyone in the courtroom.

I stopped by My beloved 1229TH Transportation Company that I served as a Logistics Officer for The US Army. The armory is just a shell now but the memories made and the service this company provided during war time will always be one of my proudest moments in my lifetime.

I can still smell the diesel and hear the sounds of the fleet of vehicles and yes is still remember being nervous as hell driving a 24-wheeler tractor trailer across The Bay Bridge for the first time. Wow!!!! The memories!!!! Love to my 1229TH Family.

I tested positive for Covid after returning from trip to Ft Lauderdale. Resting solo at my mountain house for next 5 days. Felt sick for 24 hours on Tuesday. I feel back to normal already but don’t want to spread to anyone else. This would be a good time to chat up on overdue chats or missed connections. Stay safe out there
