JOE & THE JUICE is now open Tysons Corner Center / Tysons Corner Center — its first Virginia location and another step in the brand’s continued DMV expansion.

JOE figured out something about modern retail early: people don’t necessarily want breakfast places, coffee shops, juice bars and lunch spots to be four different places.

So they built one.

Come in for coffee. Stay for a Tunacado. Grab a Spicy Tuna or JOE’s Club. Add a juice, shake or matcha. Take a meeting. Answer three emails. Come back tomorrow.

It’s fast without feeling like fast food.

That formula has taken the Copenhagen-born brand to 70+ locations across the U.S. and more than 500 globally.

Now, Virginia gets its first taste.

5 years ago Union Market District - WOW!
Five years ago, Union Market was a neighborhood on the rise. Today, it’s one of DC’s most dynamic retail and dining districts.

A steady wave of new restaurants, national brands, local operators and destination concepts has transformed the neighborhood—powered by thousands of new residents, major development and a customer base that extends well beyond Northeast DC.

For retailers, the takeaway is clear: density creates demand. More residents bring more daily needs, more foot traffic and more spending power—creating the conditions for both neighborhood-serving retail and destination concepts to succeed.

A taste of Beirut has officially arrived in Gaithersburg. 🇱🇧

Kareem’s Lebanese Kitchen Kareem's Lebanese Kitchen is NOW OPEN at Rio Lakefront, bringing three generations of Lebanese culinary tradition—and its first DMV location—to Montgomery County.

Led by third-generation Lebanese chef Rachid Eido, Kareem’s is built around family recipes, handmade mezze, fresh-baked breads, shawarma and grilled specialties. And for its Maryland debut? A little local twist: Maryland crab hummus. 🦀

The restaurant originally launched in Naples, Florida, and its move into Rio marks an exciting next chapter for the brand—and another great addition to Gaithersburg’s growing dining scene.

With roughly 1,700 cafés across South Korea, A Twosome Place 투썸플레이스 is bringing its coffee-and-dessert culture stateside — choosing Old Town Alexandria for its first U.S. location.

But this isn’t just another coffee shop. Twosome built its following around the idea that coffee is better with cake, pairing three curated coffee blends with an extensive dessert program. Its cult-favorite Spoonable Ice Box cake sells roughly 6 million units annually, while its signature Strawberry Chocolate Fresh Cream Cake is one of Korea’s best-selling cakes.

Coming soon to 2,689 SF at 404 King Street, with outdoor seating planned. Dochter & Alexander’s Jason Kastner represented A Twosome Place in the transaction.
