A taste of Beirut has officially arrived in Gaithersburg. 🇱🇧

Kareem’s Lebanese Kitchen Kareem's Lebanese Kitchen is NOW OPEN at Rio Lakefront, bringing three generations of Lebanese culinary tradition—and its first DMV location—to Montgomery County.

Led by third-generation Lebanese chef Rachid Eido, Kareem’s is built around family recipes, handmade mezze, fresh-baked breads, shawarma and grilled specialties. And for its Maryland debut? A little local twist: Maryland crab hummus. 🦀

The restaurant originally launched in Naples, Florida, and its move into Rio marks an exciting next chapter for the brand—and another great addition to Gaithersburg’s growing dining scene.

With roughly 1,700 cafés across South Korea, A Twosome Place 투썸플레이스 is bringing its coffee-and-dessert culture stateside — choosing Old Town Alexandria for its first U.S. location.

But this isn’t just another coffee shop. Twosome built its following around the idea that coffee is better with cake, pairing three curated coffee blends with an extensive dessert program. Its cult-favorite Spoonable Ice Box cake sells roughly 6 million units annually, while its signature Strawberry Chocolate Fresh Cream Cake is one of Korea’s best-selling cakes.

Dubai’s Trèsind Studio signs on for two restaurants in downtown D.C. “It’s unique in a few respects, just because of where the market is, and the fact that we were able to get this caliber to D.C. to open a flagship is phenomenal,” David Dochter said. “It shows we are a global city. We’re the nation’s capital, and I think there are other restaurants that are looking to D.C. in a similar way.”

Passion F&B, the hospitality group behind Dubai’s three Michelin-starred Trèsind Studio, has signed a lease for approximately 9,000 square feet at the iconic Homer Building, where it will debut Trèsind and Revelry—bringing an exciting new chapter to Washington’s ever-evolving restaurant scene.

BETHESDA, MD: Call Your Mother is OPEN at 4828 St Elmo Ave! Back in 2020, Call Your Mother first rolled into Bethesda with a colorful bagel trolley, giving the neighborhood a taste of what would become one of the region’s most beloved brands. Now, they’re back with a permanent home—and we have a feeling the lines are about to get even longer.

From wood-fired bagels and overstuffed breakfast sandwiches to house-made schmears, fresh coffee, and their signature “good carbs, good vibes,” Call Your Mother has built a cult following for good reason.

Bethesda has been hungry for great bagels, and this opening delivers.
