One of Rehoboth’s biggest Halloween festivals is almost here… and these are the locals’ secrets to making the most of it. 🎃🍂

Sea Witch returns October 23–25! Save these tips:

🔵 Start Friday. Community Fair: 12–5 PM at the Bandstand. Indoor vendors and Kids’ Corner: 12–6 PM at the Convention Center.

⚪ Arrive early Saturday. The parade starts at 11 AM! Rehoboth Avenue closes to traffic at 2 AM; vehicle crossings at First and Second streets stop at 9:30 AM. Grab breakfast and settle into your viewing spot early.

🔵 Know your parking. Friday’s overnight ban ends at 6 AM; park only where signs permit. Saturday: no median parking from 1 AM through the parade. The Avenue reopens after fence removal, expected around 4 PM. Find a legal side-street spot and plan to walk.

⚪ Stay after the parade. Saturday’s Sea Witch Hunt runs 1–5 PM, beach games and broom toss start at 2 PM, and downtown merchants’ trick-or-treating runs 6:30–7:30 PM.

🔵 Come back Sunday. The dog parade starts at 1 PM, with registration/judging at noon and winners announced at the Bandstand at 2:30 PM. Outdoor vendors run 10 AM–4 PM.

⚪ Eat before the rush. Reserve dinner where possible and explore Baltimore and Wilmington avenues, too. Support your favorite local spots!

Take your chairs and belongings when you leave the parade—the city collects unattended items afterward.

One of Rehoboth’s best fall weekends is happening right now. 🎷🍂

The Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival is back October 15–18, celebrating its 37th year!

What began in 1990 as a way to bring visitors to the beach after summer has grown into a four-day celebration of jazz and R&B. Over the years, legends like George Benson, Dionne Warwick, Al Jarreau, and Queen Latifah have taken its stages.

This year’s lineup includes Boney James, Brian Culbertson, Najee, Gerald Albright, Keiko Matsui, and Damien Escobar, with performances across Rehoboth Beach, Lewes, and Dewey Beach—including the Convention Center and Rusty Rudder. Sunday’s signature Grand Jam helps close out the weekend.

Behind it all are the organizers, local businesses, sponsors, and community partners who make this tradition possible. The nonprofit Delaware Celebration of Jazz also supports cancer care through Beebe Healthcare’s Tunnell Cancer Center. 💙

My tip? Choose your show, check the venue, and reserve dinner nearby so you can make an evening of it.

For me, it’s another reason I love living in Coastal Delaware. Our beaches may be famous for summer, but some of our best experiences happen after Labor Day.

Top down, sun out… not a bad day at the office. ☀️🚗

Spent the day showing homes on the Eastern Shore, and we’ve seen some beautiful properties along the way! Days like this make it easy to picture a little more time by the coast. 🏡

One of Rehoboth’s biggest weekends of the fall is almost here… 🎃

The Festival returns October 23–25, celebrating 36 years of one of Rehoboth’s favorite traditions!

Downtown Rehoboth comes alive with costumes, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and of course, the famous Sea Witch Costume Parade down Rehoboth Avenue on Saturday.

A little local advice: come early and make your reservations in advance! Rehoboth gets busy for Sea Witch, and the parade is one of those events people plan their entire weekend around.

It’s weekends like this that make fall such a special time to be in Rehoboth. Summer may be over, but our beach towns definitely aren’t slowing down!
