A few of my favorite places to grab a drink in Rehoboth Beach… 🍸

Whether you’re looking for rooftop views, a drink right on the Boardwalk, creative cocktails, or a night out with live entertainment, these four spots all bring something different to downtown Rehoboth.

🌅 Above the Dunes
🌊 Obie's By The Sea
🍹 Shorebreak Lodge Restaurant
🌲 The Pines Rehoboth Beach

Four completely different experiences, all within downtown Rehoboth Beach.

Save this list for your next night out… and shoot me a message if you’d like to learn more about our beautiful coastal communities. ✨

Every private dinner in Rehoboth Beach should start like this. 🍽️

We had ten people over, and instead of spending the night cooking, I had The Federal Rehoboth Beach Bistro handle dinner. Chef Todd Gray personally dropped everything off, walked us through the simple finishing and serving instructions, and made hosting a gourmet dinner at home incredibly easy.

Great food, almost no prep, and more time to actually enjoy the people around the table.

Definitely something to keep in mind the next time you’re hosting a dinner party at the beach. 👌

You don’t want to miss these 3 weekends in Rehoboth Beach. 🍂

Fall is one of the best times of year to be at the beach. The crowds start to thin out, the weather cools down, and some of Rehoboth’s biggest events of the year are still ahead.

🎷 Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival | October 15–18
Four days of live music throughout the Rehoboth Beach area.

🧙 Sea Witch Festival | October 23–25
One of Rehoboth’s biggest traditions, with the parade, costumes, family activities, live entertainment, and plenty happening downtown.

🎬 Rehoboth International Film Festival | November 1–8
A full week of independent films, special screenings, premieres, and filmmaker events.

Summer may get most of the attention, but fall in Rehoboth is pretty hard to beat.

Just remember to plan ahead and make your reservations early… these weekends can get very busy.

And if you’ve ever thought about making Coastal Delaware more than just a weekend destination, shoot me a message anytime.

Meet the chef behind one of Rehoboth’s most highly anticipated new restaurants… 👨‍🍳

I sat down with Chef David of Fifty Nine to talk about his background, his journey through the restaurant industry, and the vision behind this new addition to Rehoboth Beach.

Located on Baltimore Avenue, Fifty Nine offers an elevated dining experience built around familiar flavors with creative twists, seasonal ingredients, a curated wine list, and thoughtfully crafted cocktails.

It’s always exciting to see talented people bring something new to our local dining scene… and I’m looking forward to seeing what’s ahead for Fifty Nine.

Don’t visit Rehoboth Beach until you read these locals’ secrets… 👇

🔵 Skip the meters after 5 PM. Parking permits aren’t required on residential streets after 5, so park a few blocks off Rehoboth Avenue and walk into town.

🔵 September 16 is a date dog owners should know. Dogs are allowed back on the beach and Boardwalk from Sept. 16 - May 14!

🔵 Explore beyond Rehoboth. Cape Henlopen State Park offers nearly 5,000 acres of beaches, dunes, trails, and incredible coastal scenery.

🔵 Visit the surrounding towns. is just a few miles away, with charming streets, local shops, great restaurants, and its own waterfront.

Sometimes experiencing Rehoboth like a local just means knowing where… and when… to go.

Save this for your next trip to Coastal Delaware.🛟

This is one of Rehoboth’s biggest art festivals… 🎨🌳

The Rehoboth Art League’s 53rd Annual Outdoor Fine Art & Fine Craft Show brought more than 125 artists and artisans from around the country to for two weekends of painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, and more.

And the setting is a big part of what makes this show so special. The Art League sits on a beautiful 3.5+ acre wooded campus just outside downtown Rehoboth, with galleries, studios, gardens, and historic buildings tucked throughout the property. At the heart of the campus is the Peter Marsh Homestead, which dates all the way back to 1743.

It’s a pretty incredible place to spend a summer afternoon and one of those events that really showcases another side of Rehoboth Beach.

Unfortunately, this year’s show has already wrapped up! The 2026 show took place August 1–2 and August 8–9, but make sure to keep it on your calendar for next summer.

None of this would be possible without my incredible clients, colleagues, friends, referral partners, the exceptional team at Monument SIR, and the power of the Sotheby's International Realty brand. Thank you for your continued confidence and support… the greatest recognition will always be happy clients. 🥂

How did the First Town in the First State emerge into the resort destination it is today?✨

Lewes began in 1631 as a small Dutch settlement and grew into a working maritime town shaped by fishermen, shipbuilders, merchants, farmers, and Delaware Bay pilots.

Then came the railroad.🚂

By the late 1800s, Lewes became easier to reach, and the Queen Anne Railroad Pier helped introduce generations of visitors to this quiet stretch of coastline. Simple summer cottages soon appeared along the bay, many eventually giving way to the coastal homes we see today.🏠

🧭Yet through centuries of change, Lewes has held onto what makes it special: its maritime heritage, historic architecture, walkable streets, and unmistakable small-town charm.

As a local Realtor, I believe understanding a community’s history is part of understanding its value.
