Today was the culmination of 12 months (6 on each side) worth of work and how two stories collided into one. Well, technically a little longer. Paul and Jenn, reached out to me a little over a year and a half ago telling me their hopes of purchasing their first home. They weren’t ready right when we started talking, but fate has a funny way of working. Flash forward almost a year, I have started working with a new couple, Shane and Sarah, who are interested in selling their house and purchasing a new one. This is what we call a sale and settlement, it can be a little tricky and much more rigorous than the average sale. Remember that thing I said about fate earlier? Well, guess who ended up being ready to buy a house that was in the exact same school district as the one Shane and Sarah needed to sell. So we made it lineup and we got them under contract. But that only solved part of it, the next step was to find Shane and Sarah a house. After several months of looking, we found them the perfect place in Cranberry, AND it had everything they could’ve asked for. I’m a firm believer that when the time is right, the opportunity will present itself. This is just one of those occasions where that belief is even further solidified. Congratulations to Paul and Jenn, Shane and Sarah, and both of their families. Here’s to new adventures in new houses!
