From a tenant: “Thank you for the specialty gifts. Everything you get me I always LOVE and use the heck out of! That make-up bag and make up that you got for me from Estée Lauder is my favorite. I'm still using the mascara that was in there. Everything else is gone lol but I'm squeezing out the last of the mascara. And the bonsai tree… I have had so much fun with that! The candle in that gorgeous creamy clay pot was divine (it's been reused every summer for a pretty pink annual flower). And the tea towels...I'm a tea towel person! The "wine" one is my fav 😂. And the cream Ugg socks I wear nearly every day in the winter! I bought 3 pairs of them last year for gifts after you got them for me. The socks are what made me say OMG when I saw those mittens!! So soft and feminine...I've had them for you for almost 2 months. You are such a good and kind person. I will never forget you getting me a Valentine's gift that year after my divorce was final. One of the most thoughtful things anyone has ever done for me. God's grace shines so brightly from you. Thank you for everything.”

Mornings with a guitar being played at the cabin. Afternoon walks at the Minor Clarke Hatchery or Cave Run watching eagles fly by. Hiking, enjoying dinner, & exploring little shops at the Red River Gorge. 🥾 Having coffee & walking the flea markets in Morehead. ☕️Rainy evenings spent with puzzles, games, and movies — the kind of slow, quiet time you didn’t even know you needed.
