We are excited to partner with Fitness Unlimited-Washington, N.C. for their unofficial 5K Thanksgiving Day “Turkey Trot” at 8:30am. Meet in the parking lot at the Washington-Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce. Please bring non-perishable items to help keep the food pantries stocked at Beaufort County Schools, NC. The following items are needed: applesauce cups, fruit cups, pop top soups, pop top ravioli, nabs, oodles of noodles, peanut butter, saltines, individual cereals, small juice bottles and mac and cheese microwaveable cups. We are excited to see everyone and burn off some pre-Thanksgiving meal calories. Everyone is welcome! Let’s fill those pantries!! If you are unable to attend the “Turkey Trot” we are collecting these items and will deliver to Bright Futures.
