Meet the Agent! Joanne Cooper
Joanne Cooper has a sales background, which spans approximately 35 years, and includes sales, marketing, and real estate sales management. The past 26 years of her career have been spent as a highly productive Realtor, in Orange County, New York. In addition to earning a broker's license after several years, Joanne has earned several professional real estate designations, which include: Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Certified New Home Sales and Marketing Specialist, Certified Buyer Representative (CBR), and Certified Residential Relocation Specialist (CRRS). Hundreds of real estate
course credits have been accumulated, in areas from appraisal, to investment properties. She has qualified for the Multi-Million Dollar Club, repeatedly.
Joanne received her B.A. in fine art and interior design, from The College of Mount Saint Vincent, in New York. She also studied at the University of Miami, and The Art Students League of New York. Her interior design skills, and creativity, are extremely beneficial to her real estate clientele, when staging a home for sale. They help the house appeal to a wider range of buyers and is essential, to help it to stand out from
the others on the market. The goal is to sell the house, at the best possible price, in the shortest time. Joanne feels that in order to do this, you need an "Edge"...something that makes the home stand apart, and compel a buyer to not only make an offer, but to make it now, for fear that this "Special" home will be gone, if they delay. As a result, her listings rarely stay on the market for very long.
As a resident of the Towns of Woodbury, and Cornwall, for many years, she has been an active participant in the Monroe-Woodbury School District, as well as the Cornwall Central School District, as a tutor and substitute art teacher. She was a Past Vice-President of the Central Valley P.T.A.. Joanne is actively involved in the arts. She is an accomplished painter, who has studied in Europe. Her work has been exhibited locally, as well as in France and throughout the U.S..
Joanne takes great pride in the many clients, who have sought her out repeatedly over the years, for their own sales, the starter homes for their children, homes for members of their extended families, and for relocation referrals.
