“She is who she is, but she ain’t who she was before.”
That line from Zach Bryan’s Is The Blue Tangled In You? hit a little closer to home than I expected.
The photo on the left was taken about a week after I got my real estate license. The photo on the right is me today.
Same woman. A whole lot of life in between.
Since getting divorced in 2020, I’ve had to rebuild, rediscover myself, lean heavily on my faith, and learn to keep going even when I wasn’t sure what was waiting on the other side.
Today, I’m in my fifth year of real estate, continuing to invest in my education and my clients, growing with Elite Real Estate Group, and raising two young adults who remind me every day why I can’t give up.
Have I had days when I wanted to? Absolutely.
But over the last few months, I’ve had so many single moms reach out and tell me that seeing my journey has helped them keep going. That means more to me than they probably realize.
We all have a story. We all have seasons that test us. And sometimes, the things we thought would break us become the very things that build us into someone new.
My faith in God has carried me through some of my hardest seasons, and I trust that He has a purpose even when I can’t see the whole picture.
So if you’re starting over, rebuilding, or just trying to make it through a hard season, give yourself some grace.
You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to keep going.
Same woman. Different season. Stronger faith. And a whole lot of life still left to live.
If you’re rebuilding your life right now, I hope you know you’re not alone. ❤️
