Alaska gets some pretty incredible seasonal visitors… and I’m not talking about tourists. 🐦🏔️

Every year, millions of migratory birds travel through Alaska as part of their seasonal journeys. From wetlands and coastal areas to forests and tundra, our huge variety of habitats gives birds important places to rest, feed, and raise their young.

It’s one of those Alaska facts that makes you realize just how connected our state is to the natural world beyond our borders. 🤎

Next time you see a flock overhead, just imagine how far they may have traveled to get here!

Are you a birdwatcher, or do you just stop and admire them when you spot them? 👇

This is exactly why the details matter. 🤎🏡

There’s a lot happening behind the scenes in a real estate transaction, and my job isn’t simply to get you from offer to closing. It’s to pay attention, ask questions, catch the things that need a second look, and make sure you understand what’s happening along the way.

Reviews like this mean so much to me because that’s exactly how I want my clients to feel — informed, protected, and confident in the decisions they’re making.

Benjamin, thank you for trusting me with such an important chapter. I’m so grateful I got to be part of it. 🤎

If you’re thinking about buying or selling in Anchorage or the Mat-Su Valley, send me a message. I’d love to be in your corner, too.

There’s something special about helping someone find a home that truly fits their life. 🏡🤎

For me, real estate has never been just about addresses, contracts, or closing days. It’s about listening to what matters, knowing the Alaska market, and helping my clients feel confident through every step of the process.

Whether you’re buying your first home, making a move, or starting a new chapter here in Alaska, I’d love to be the person in your corner.

📩 Thinking about a move in Anchorage or the Mat-Su? Send me a message and let’s talk.

October weekends in Alaska just hit different. 🍂🏒🎃

Whether you’re ready to cheer from the stands, lean into spooky season, enjoy a little fall family fun, or get outside for a good cause, there’s plenty happening around Anchorage and the Mat-Su this weekend.

I pulled together a few ideas for October 9–11 so you can spend less time searching and more time enjoying where we get to live. 🤎

Swipe through, save this for the weekend, and send it to someone who’s always asking, “What should we do?”

Which one are you adding to your plans? 👇

Anchorage has its own personality, traditions, unwritten rules, and local favorites—and once you’ve been here long enough, you definitely start to have opinions. 😂

That’s one of my favorite things about living here. There’s so much more to Anchorage than what you’ll find on a visitor’s checklist, and getting to know those little local quirks is part of what makes it feel like home.

So I want to hear from my Anchorage people: what’s one thing only a true local would understand? 👇

And if you’re new to Alaska or thinking about making Anchorage home, stick around. I share the local side of life here and the real estate side. 🏡

Sunlight can completely change how a home feels—and I’m not just talking about those beautiful golden-hour windows. ☀️🏡

When I’m looking at a property with buyers, I want them to notice which rooms get morning light, what stays shaded later in the day, and how the sun reaches the driveway, deck, yard, and other outdoor spaces.
That matters even more when you start imagining everyday life through an Alaska winter.

A showing only gives you a snapshot of the home at one time of day. Try to picture what the light will be doing hours—and seasons—later.

☀️ At your next showing, step outside and look up. Where will the sun be throughout your day?

Save this for your next home tour and follow for more Alaska Home Truths™.

My office has four wheels… and the view is always changing. 🚙🏔️

Real estate doesn’t always happen behind a desk.

Some days it’s showings, property checks, client calls between appointments, paperwork from the car, and a whole lot of driving between Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valley.

And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🤎

Every mile usually means I’m helping someone get a little closer to home.

Thinking about making a move in Alaska? Send me a DM — chances are, I’m already on the road. 😉

Cold Alaska days have a way of making the simplest things feel extra good. ☕❄️
A slow morning over coffee, wandering through a local shop, grabbing something warm to eat, or spending the afternoon tucked away somewhere comfortable—sometimes the best plans are the ones that keep you indoors. 🤎
And when staying home sounds better than going anywhere? I completely understand that too. 🏡
What’s your go-to place or activity when Alaska gives you an absolutely not going outside kind of day? 😂 Drop it below—I’m always looking for local favorites!

Some nights in Alaska are worth staying up WAY past your bedtime for. ✨🌌

Fairbanks sits beneath the auroral oval, a region where aurora activity is frequently concentrated — which is one reason Interior Alaska is so well known for Northern Lights viewing.

And there’s something about seeing them in person that photos just can’t capture. Standing under a dark Alaska sky while those colors move overhead? That’s a bucket-list moment. 💚

If seeing the Northern Lights is on your list, would you brave a freezing Alaska night for the perfect view? 👇

Save this one for your Alaska bucket list!

Some showings come with a few unexpected treasures. 🎶🏡

I spotted this collection of old records tucked away in a home I was touring—from John Denver and Waylon & Willie to Kenny Rogers and Gordon Lightfoot. And because this house was already giving us a serious trip back in time… the original double oven is still there too. 😂

It’s one of my favorite parts of real estate—you never quite know what you’re going to find behind the next door.

The question is: Which record are you putting on first? 👇🎵
