Rent in Alaska is looking for a full-time Cleaning Technician to join our team in Wasilla! 📍

This position will primarily focus on residential move-out cleans, getting homes clean and ready for the next resident. 🏠✨ You’ll also help keep common areas in some of our commercial buildings clean and presentable. 🏢

🧽 What You’ll Be Doing:

🏠 Complete residential move-out cleanings
🗑️ Remove trash and debris from properties
🏢 Clean common areas in commercial buildings
🧹 Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize
🔎 Report maintenance or property issues you notice while cleaning
✅ Follow cleaning checklists and company standards
🧰 Properly use and care for cleaning equipment and supplies
⏰ Complete cleaning assignments in a timely manner

What We’re Looking For:

🧹 Previous cleaning experience preferred
🔍 Good attention to detail
💪 Comfortable with physical work, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout properties
⏱️ Reliable and dependable
👍 Able to work independently and stay on task
💬 Good communication skills
📋 Able to follow instructions and cleaning checklists
🚗 Reliable transportation to and from the office and assigned properties

💼 Position Details:

📍 Location: Wasilla, Alaska
⏰ Position: Full-time, in person
💵 Pay: $22.00 per hour
🌴 Benefits: Paid time off

Rent in Alaska is looking for a **full-time Property Manager** to join our team in Wasilla! 📍

This is a hands-on position working with our residential and commercial properties. The day-to-day work includes working with tenants, handling leases and notices, completing move-in and move-out inspections, coordinating maintenance, and keeping property records up to date. 🏡🔧

What We’re Looking For:

🏢 Property management experience preferred
🏠 Real estate license preferred
📚 If you don't have a real estate license, you must be willing to obtain one within 6 months of starting
💰 Obtaining your real estate license will come with a pay increase
💬 Good communication and organizational skills
🤝 Comfortable working with tenants and handling day-to-day issues
✅ Able to stay organized and follow through on tasks
💻 Experience with AppFolio or Monday.com is a plus

💼 Position Details:

📍 Location: Wasilla, Alaska

🦊 Silver Fox Inn 2.0 — CONSTRUCTION UPDATE 🦊
Well… as is often the case when you start opening up an older building, you find out there’s a lot more hiding behind the walls than you originally planned for.

Unfortunately, due to a combination of past construction that fell short of modern standards and years of deferred basic maintenance, the scope of the Silver Fox project has continued to get larger and larger as we dig deeper.
The good news is our engineer is nearly finished with the updated structural plan, and rather than putting Band-Aids on old problems, we’ve made the decision to do this right.

Since we’re already going this far, we’ve also decided to completely redesign the interior layout and rebuild the kitchen as part of the project. Our goal hasn’t changed: when the Silver Fox reopens, we want it to be the best version of the Fox yet — Silver Fox Inn 2.0. 🦊🍻

The reality is that this project has become substantially larger, more complicated, and more expensive than we originally anticipated. At this point, it is very unlikely that we will reopen before the end of the year.

Until the engineering and construction plans are completely dialed in, trusses are ordered, and we have firm lead times from our contractors and suppliers, I don’t want to throw out another reopening date that we may not be able to meet.

IN THE MEANTIME… 🍔🍻🎰 Roadside Inn Wasilla Alaska is open 7 DAYS A WEEK from 8AM–10PM, and we’d love to continue taking care of all our Fox customers while construction is underway.
