The Crosby High School Sports Hall of Fame will hold its Inaugural Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 6 p.m. at Grand Oak Villa in Watertown.
The 10-member inaugural class of inductees includes: Nick Augelli, boys’ basketball coach; Antoinette Brown, girls’ basketball; Tommy Dorso Jr., boys’ golf; Patrick S. Graham, football (current NFL assistant coach); Anthony Ireland, boys’ basketball; Steve Johnson, boys’ basketball; Joan Joyce, internationally known softball player and coach (pictured here); Chris Ortiz, football; Tony Ortiz, football and boys’ track & field; and Lisa Stublic, Olympic distance runner.
“The Crosby Sports Hall of Fame celebrates the rich heritage and tradition of the successful athletic programs at Crosby High School throughout its long history, said Crosby director of athletics David Ieronimo. “It serves to recognize, preserve and honor athletes, teams, coaches and individuals who have made significant contributions to the athletic program.”
Tickets are $45 each and can be purchased until May 6 by visiting https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/X78TC22G6WJA2. Congratulatory program book advertisements are also available until that date by emailing [email protected]. Ads are $150, $100, or $50 for a full, half, or quarter page, respectively.
“This year’s inaugural class is filled with Crosby legends,” Ieronimo said. “We are so proud to honor their amazing accomplishments, and are looking forward to honoring more athletes in the future.”
