Job Description

Conley's Rental Management is a real estate company that performs basic, technical tasks to maintain residential homes and apartment buildings for large residential owners in Watertown and neighboring communities.
Due to increase in demands of our work, we are seeking an energetic and experienced maintenance worker. This is a great opportunity for someone who is hardworking and motivated in learning a hands-on knowledge in serving and maintaining properties.

Responsibilities:
• Must comply with work order to include interpreting work orders, performing work requested and completing work orders per instruction on timely basis.
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, retrofits or other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager in a safe manner within shop practices and standards.
• Perform paint, carpet, laminate flooring, drywall, snow removal, lawn care and wallpaper repair work as required.
• Performs maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, ventilation and electrical systems, as well as small and large appliances.
• Must have own tools
Modest carpentry work as needed
• Performs any other miscellaneous duties as requested.
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious work environment

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
*Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as required.
*Previous experience is a must.
*Energetic and flexible, able to work well under pressure.
*NY State driver License as you will be provided a company vehicle
*Excellent communication skills
*Previous customer service experience an asset
*Self-motivated, creative, and capable of working in a team environment

As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for: Assisting, coordinating, integrating and representing all facets of financing, accounting, organizing, filing, front desk services, as well as coordinating with maintenance staff and homeowners.
You will help organize and assist in managing office daily activities and performing all secretarial duties for the manager.
Examples include: meeting and greeting customers, receiving phone calls, delegating work to maintenance staff, and checking in with leasing agents.

Relationships:
*Reports to the Manager.
*Maintains working relationship with the office staff.
*Maintains relationship with tenants.

Responsibilities:
*Perform a variety of general accounting and bookkeeping tasks
*Perform account payables and receivables tasks.
*Entering data into computer system using QuickBooks and Excel
*Respond effectively and efficiently to customers, office staff, homeowners.
*Answer emails to homeowners and other emails in regards to daily office activities
*Coordinating with outside suppliers/contractors for maintenance related work

Qualifications:
*Proficient in Microsoft Applications including Word and Excel
*Organized with effective verbal and written communication skills
*Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
*1-2 years proven work experience
