Starbucks is ringing in fall early this year, announcing the Pumpkin Spice Latte’s return today (Aug. 26). While later than last year, the release still comes weeks before autumn officially begins on Sept. 22. The PSL, which debuted in 2003 and has since sold hundreds of millions of cups, will be joined by returning favorites like the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai, plus newcomers like the Pecan Oatmilk Cortado and Italian Sausage Egg Bites. The fall menu launch comes as the chain works to revive sales under CEO Brian Niccol’s “Back to Starbucks” campaign, with the company betting once again that pumpkin spice magic will bring customers back.
